A Walk To | Cherry Blossom Viewing at Shinjuku Gyoen Park

These photos were taken at the second time I went to Shinjuku Gyoen Park. The first time I was here, the gate was already closed! It's closed at 16:30, so sad haha.

The second time was a bit unplanned, it was the last day of our visit to Tokyo. We were in a rush but luckily we still managed to visit enjoy spring in here.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is like an urban oasis *tsah*! The location is very close to Shinjuku Station, Shinjuku shopping area, there's also a Yoshinoya nearby, lol! The park is quite big,  bigger than city park in Jakarta, and I wish we could have more park in here.

With its big area, I couldn't explore each meters of the park due to limited time :( Make sure you visit this place, it offers great objects for photos haha.

How to Get There:
Shinjuku Gate is a ten minute walk east from the "New South Exit" of JR Shinjuku Station or a five minute walk from Shinjukugyoenmae Station on the Marunouchi Subway Line. Okido Gate is also a five minute walk from Shinjukugyoenmae Station on the Marunouchi Subway Line. Finally, Sendagaya Gate is a five minute walk from JR Sendagaya Station on the local Chuo/Sobu Line. (I used this guide from JapanGuide)
