Lomo on!

What's your first camera? Mine was Holga 120CFN which I bought around 4 years ago (I forgot haha), I love the result but I have a little difficulty in finding the film with medium format and looking for the lab to process medium format film here. I started to love film camera and I decided to purchase Lomography Fisheye No.2 and Holga 135BC, it will be easier to find 35mm film.

Talking about Lomography, I just signed up to the website. Unexpectedly I got the Most Popular Newcomers of October 2014, Photo of The Day, and did a little interview for Newcomer of the Week! Yeay :))

I love film photography that I keep buying another analog cameras (but I think I've stopped since I bought Pentax Espio Mini) but Lomography cameras with their unique result is one of the reason that makes me addicted to film camera :D

A Walk to | Hong Kong

Last year, I got chance to spend a vacation to Hong Kong and China from my office, yay free trip! Haha. So these are some snapshots from the trip, pardon the blurry and greyish pics, LOL! I took them with my Holga 135BC and Fujichrome T64. A friend of mine said maybe it failed on the developing process because all the rolls that were developed in that studio were all look the same, while I have another rolls that were developed in other studio and they're all fine. But it's ok, sometimes shit happens, right? At least I'll still keep the memory in my head :P

Back to the trip, my office had travel agent to arrange our trip but we also sneak  around at night and day (when we felt the tour was boring). We went to Victoria Peak, Madam Tussauds, Ngong Ping, Window of the World & Cultural Village, Ocean Park, Ladies Market, Avenue of the Stars. We also wandered around Tsim Sha Shui, Causeway Bay, Lantau and some places which I forgot their names because they're all looks the same ^^. I've never thought I'll travel to East Asian countries -- except Japan, yes I eager to go there!  All in all, it was FUN! Well, it will be fun if you have friends to get crazy together, right? :D

The view from L'Hotel Nina, Hong Kong. Actually, it looks better than this pic haha

Victoria Peak. Again, what's with that line in the pic :/
Fog sign, with foggy and blurry result haha

A Walk To Mesjid Agung

Mesjid Agung Jawa Tengah (Great Mosque of Central Java) is one of the biggest in Java, it covers about 10 hectares (25 acres). It's one of the recommended place to visit in Semarang :D

Chasing Sunset | Rock Bar, Jimbaran Bali

The next day after me and my friends spent our afternoon watching Foster the People at Seminyak, we decided to enjoy the sunset at Rock Bar Jimbaran Bali. Rock Bar is often credited as being Bali's best bar, so we're curious and we have to proof our existence haha.

We had to wait around 30 minutes to get in (waiting for the lift & free table), luckily we come earlier because the queuing line was getting longer and longer (most of them are foreigners). This bar is located on a rocky cliffs of Jimbaran Bay (suddenly silly thought come up: what if there's an earthquake and we're all gonna die here, haha!) but it really has a great view! It's a nice place to chill -- well, not really chill after a Japanese old man passed out and fell from the stairs behind our table :(. We had quite perfect table to watch the sunset eventhough it was cloudy that afternoon. I recommend you to visit Rock Bar during your visit to Bali (bring your beloved one will be a good idea) :D

Chasing Sunset | Seminyak

During our short getaway to Bali, me and Ellin were killing time at W Bar Bali, while our friend, Putri watching Foster the People at Potato Head. We (me & Ellin) walked along the beach (W to Potato Head) and found out that we can still watch Foster the People show from the beach. Imagine that we're watching sunset while Foster The People play their song live as the background. That was one of the most random things we did  :))

PS: The fireworks which closed Foster the People show was beautiful! And many tourists also watch the show from the beach 'illegally' haha

The magic of holga, elite chrome and nature

I took the first photo at about 5pm and the second photo at 6pm. Both photos taken with Holga 135 BC & Elite Chrome film. I'm surprised with the result because the color is sooo different from the reality, especially the one which was taken at 5pm (It's so blue right? I don't even do the editing for both photos)
