Trekking Mount Rinjani I // Gili Trawangan, Lombok

To climb the famed Mount Rinjani was an impulse decision, I've been eager to trek Rinjani since long time ago. Though, I think I'll go for Rinjani after climbing some lower mountains (many hikers say that Rinjani is not for the newbie haha). Someone successfully influenced me,  I said that I'll go if I can get my office leave ;P

The universe granted our wish, haha!

As soon as I got my office leave, we started to arrange our 11 days trip, our plan is exploring Lombok - Bali - Surabaya. We'll join Backpacker Indonesia group for Rinjani trekking, so I don't need to think about 5D4N trekking itinerary; just prepare my outdoor gear and physical exercise, which is already tiring since I don't use to do it.

Gili Trawangan is the first stop to chill before our main destination, Rinjani (people usually do the opposite, Rinjani then Gili). Now I know why people adore Gili, it has natural attractions, night life and watersport activities to offer like Bali yet it's more quiet. I enjoyed each moment in here that I didn't take picture much :))

    1. Have an exercise at least once a week, one month before you hike. So your body are ready physically. It's addictive! :D
Thanks Aia, I just followed your blog yesterday ;)
